A total of 6,656 medical workers taken on to boost the health service in the Valencia region during the pandemic have had their temporary contracts renewed ‘at least until April 30’.
Regional councillor for health Ana Barceló explained that by this time they expect to have created 6,000 new ‘structural places’ for employees within the regional health service.
