Trade unions reported today that regional president Ximo Puig is set to ask the national government for a curfew which will see people ordered to remain in their homes between midnight and 06.00.
They said Sr Puig told them the regional government intends to introduce the measure as soon as possible in order to crack down on rises in Covid-19 infections.
This would be when there was ‘legal cover’.
