The draft of a new regional government decree to regulate the activity of bars and restaurants has been published by the tourism department.
Aside from health and safety, technical and accessibility requirements – such as having at least one table suitable for wheelchair users – establishments must be ‘clean and in perfect condition, and provide ‘friendly and courteous treatment to clients, attending to them quickly, efficiently and professionally’.
