Denia council has started work to create more urban allotments at Finca Torrecremada – a municipal initiative aimed mainly at the ‘integration of pensioners’ and to promote ecological agriculture.
People can produce their own healthy and fresh food and rediscover the region’s traditional orchards, the council notes.
