A FLAT mobile phone battery, clothing not fit for a night on the tiles and darkness all around turned two Spanish walkers’ Montgó trip into their worst nightmare on Saturday.
Luckily, the women had just been able to make an emergency services call before their phone went dead, although firefighters and police were worried they would not be able to find them as it was gone 21.00 and they were unable to say where they were.
They had got lost and could not find the way out, the hikers explained.
