The Guardia Civil have arrested four people for a kidnapping in Callosa de Segura related to a robbery of drugs.
The ringleader was allegedly closely linked to criminal gangs associated with the Neapolitan Camorra and has been jailed on remand, as have two of the other suspects, according to a spokesman for the force.
