THE SPANISH government’s Royal Decree – to protect the rights of Britons living in Spain in the event of a no-deal Brexit – would see UK nationals obtain a foreigner’s identity card.
Britons legally resident in Spain before the withdrawal date (set to be March 29) – and any family members – would have to apply for the documentation ‘which corresponds to their new status’.
