Yes, the calls from Microsoft are very annoying. About two years ago, I started getting between 06.00 and 08.00 each morning. My phone is purely for health reasons with friends and family wanting to know I was keeping well as my age of 90 years.
In desperation, I used my father’s old GWR train guards whistle (which had to be loud enough to hear from one end of a train to the other.)
I blew it as hard as I could within second of them saying, “I am calling about your computer” I had got fed up saying I had no computer.
‘The whistle did the trick’ and eventually they got the message. I still get an odd phone call from time to time but keep the whistle by my phone for any nuisance calls.
DON’T DELAY. GET A WHISTLE AND USE IT.
