I note Laurie’s response but, sadly, she missed the point-this is Spain, not Basildon, where the traditions are quite different but maintained in a stronger way.
This is not about moving with the times, as Spanish families move with the times at a slower pace than British families, in case she had not noticed.
Just a touch of realism
