At last we have seen some common sense in the reporting of this item.
I wish to thank Sonny Merali, David Burrage, Georgina Pennick and Jacqui Birch for their comments in this week’s edition. Anyone with a sense of logic will see that the spending power of Brits either in residence here or as visitors will not want to be thrown away by the Spanish authorities (to be duplicated in other EU countries) and thus the panic emanating from the likes of Sue Wilson should be resisted as much as possible.
As for the airlines scare, are the authorities here and in other EU countries going to turn away the spending power of inbound flights? Obviously, no.
Let us all let the relevant people get on with their negotiations and view it all with a positive mind-set, please.
