Orba
June 3
Last night, June 2, my cat limped in at 11.05pm, in pain and groaning. He wouldn’t let me examine him too closely so I left him as comfortable as I could. In the morning, June 3, I took him to the vet in Orba, Clínica la Solana, where he was x-rayed and it was discovered that my cat had been shot with a shotgun and must have been in agony but was determined to get home from wherever he had been shot. His injuries were so horrendous that the vet said there was nothing he could do and I agreed he should be put to sleep. I live in a small village in the Orba valley and certainly never expected anything like this to happen.
Anyone with pets should be worried about what has happened to my cat.

Vivien, your letter about your cat being shot would bring tears to any normal person. I cannot describe what the sh… who did this deserves. Hopefully in due course you can remember the good times and company your cat gave you. Brian, Xativa.
