Torrevieja

I know that there have been a number of letters regarding the new 50 speed limit along the CV905 between San Luis and Torrevieja, but I feel compelled to add my concern.
When I travel along this section, I am usually the only car complying with the new limit. Most other users drive past me at well over the limit – probably close to or over the old limit of 80.
When I look in my rear mirror, it scares me to see cars closing in at high speed and then having to swerve to stop running into the back of me – assuming the other lane is clear.
It is only a matter of time before there is a serious accident unless the speed limit is either policed correctly with speed guns or the limit is put back to a more sensible speed. Until then I will carry on complying but will try not to look in my rear view mirror!
