Keep your eyes peeled for teal

Construction of a new observation tower and rewilding of an old irrigation pond have been completed at El Hondo natural park.

They are part of a joint project by the Estrella de Levante foundation and the south-east naturalists’ association (ANSE) to improve the habitat for the marbled teal, the most endangered species of duck in Europe.
