NEARLY all hotels in the Costa Blanca, Valencia coast and Costa Cálida remain closed despite being able to open since last week.
Only five of the over 500 establishments have opening their doors. The main reasons are the very strict opening conditions, the limitation in number of guests and, above all, the imposibility for potential customers to arrive.
Under current phase one rules people can only travel within their province – hence customers could only be from Alicante province itself.
