The fight to conserve two of Alicante province’s most emblematic species, the Montagu’s and western marsh harriers, is continuing for another year thanks to a project by the Faunatura association.
A variety of actions are being carried out throughout the course of 2024, such as studying the nesting of both species in La Mata-Torrevieja park, which is home to over 90% of the nesting population in Alicante and Valencia provinces.
