Alfaz del Pi is latest town hall in Alicante province to launch a crackdown on law-breaking scooter riders.
Their campaign coincides with the start of the new school year and is ‘specifically aimed at young people’.
Local police will increase their checks on roads and streets in the municipality.
They also aim to inform people on ‘the correct use of electric scooters’.
