Pedestrian-friendly measures are top of the agenda in Benitachell in the coming months – safer crossings and pavements are set to follow on from a traffic ban in parts of the Old Town.
Residents had long been complaining to the council that they could not get out of their front doors due to vehicles being parked across them in streets barely narrow enough for a car to pass through.
