A dog which became ‘trapped in a rocky area with difficult access’ in the municipality of Calpe has been rescued by the provincial fire service.
The animal was greeted with a hug from its relieved owner when it had been lifted back up to the path.
A spokesperson for the provincial fire service noted the action of the team had resulted in a ‘happy ending’.
