Town halls in Alicante province face a gargantuan task to stop dog owners leaving their pets’ excrement on pavements, paths and in parks, but one local authority is hitting offenders where it hurts most – their pockets.
Petrer town hall announced this week that they have issued ‘around 20’ fines to dog owners who have failed to pick their pet’s poo.
