HUNDREDS of holidaymakers spent Friday night crammed into the ferry terminal waiting room in Dénia after their craft ran aground, leaving their cars and suitcases trapped inside.
Baleària’s Pinar del Río ferry had just returned from Ibiza and was only 100 metres away from where it was due to dock at 23.30 when it collided with Dénia’s North Pier, forcing the crew to evacuate all 393 passengers.
