The Valencia region’s coast law will ‘protect the values of our coast, but it will also be sensitive to the historic and economic reality of our land’.
These were the words of regional councillor, Salomé Pradas.
A regional coast law will set the Partido Popular (PP) in Valencia on collision course with the national government, as the State manages all the public land on Spain’s shoreline via its national coast department (Costas).
