The tax agency has uncovered a massive scam based in Alicante province that was distributing ‘modified’ diesel fuel from EU countries to low-cost service stations in order to avoid quality checks and taxes.
After more than a year of investigation directed by an Orihuela court they have made 43 arrests and investigated 90 businesses.
