A man has been remanded in custody after Guardia Civil seized 1,530 marijuana plants being grown inside a luxury villa in Callosa de Ensarriá.
The occupant of the property was identified as a 48-year-old Slovenian man with no criminal record in Spain, who spent long periods without coming out of the house, which made the officers suspicious.
