A British man accused of setting fire to several communal rubbish containers in Jávea has been arrested by Guardia Civil.
The alleged arsonist is a 43-year-old resident of the municipality and has records for previous offences, according to a spokesman for the force.
A series of reports that bins and vehicles on various streets had been deliberately set alight were received on September 8, forcing Guardia Civil and local police to attend.
