IN the 1970’s there was a political rebellion in Portugal and holiday villa owners lost their homes. As a consequence the economy suffered and the Government pleaded for the expats to return. No one is going to restrict the buying and selling of homes !! Spain would collapse overnight.
I am confident, whatever the result, the Spanish and UK goverment will certainly find some agreements.
