The provincial fire brigade reported on Sunday that there had been a ‘happy ending’ for a bird of prey which became trapped in the partially collapsed branch of a tree.
The incident occurred in San Vicente del Raspeig.
Firefighters were able to safely remove the bird from the tree and it was taken to the Santa Faz wild animal recovery centre in Alicante for treatment.
