The Valencia government has voiced ‘disagreement’ over the decision of the health ministry to only allow 10 out of 24 health departments in the Valencia region to progress to phase one of the government’s exit plan.
Councillor for health in Valencia, Ana Barceló claimed the whole of the region had met the criteria set out by the ministry.
She said they had proposed that all 24 healthcare areas in the provinces of Alicante, Valencia and Castellón should move on to this next phase, which begins today with the opening of bar and restaurant terraces, etc.
“After listening to the minister, I want to express our complete disagreement over the decision that has been taken,” said Sra Barceló.
