Strict measures brought in by the Valencia government to reduce the high number of Covid-19 infections are bearing fruit and active cases in the region have been slashed in the last two weeks.
However, despite the reduction in infections, Wednesday’s figures showed that 615 people had died from Covid-19 in the last seven days in the region.
