Police were called several times over Easter to mediate in a dispute at the Natura World resort after swimsuit wearers tried to force their way into a pool naturists claim as their own.
Use of swimwear at the pool in Vera Playa has been a bone of contention between users of the urbanisation for many years, but this Easter the situation spiralled out of control after an attempt was made to declare the pool a clothing-free location.
Spokeswoman for the clothed bathers, Mari Carmen Jiménez, claimed that naturists were “aggressively marking their territory”.
