A new action blockbuster starring British actor Jude Law and US star Blake Lively will be shot in Almería province next year.
The announcement was made by Almería city council last week during the launch of the international film festival.
British-made thriller ‘The Rhythm Section’ is based on a novel by Mark Burnell and tells the story of a woman, played by Lively, who is pushed over the edge after losing her family in a plane crash. When she discovers the crash was caused by a bomb explosion, she seeks revenge.
Law, who starred as Dr Watson alongside Robert Downey Jr. in two Sherlock Holmes movies, will reportedly play an ex-secret service agent who helps her discover the truth.
