Two people – including a 62-year-old woman – have been arrested in Águilas in connection with the online sale of two anti-aircraft rounds.
The 35 mm calibre cartridges, dating from the 1970s and described as being in “perfect condition”, went on sale on “a well known ad website”, although the Guardia Civil declined to reveal the name.
A 36-year-old man who placed the ad was arrested in a sting operation after undercover agents posing as potential buyers arranged a meeting with him outside Águilas.
