The mother of a 12-year-old boy in a school in Olula del Río has accused the education authorities of ignoring her son’s plight after having endured years of physical abuse at the hands of bullies.
Inmaculada Rivas says she took the decision to go public after discovering her son Alejandro, who attends the Rosa Navarro school, was considering suicide.
Sra Rivas claims that a gang of older bullies have been systematically victimising her son since a slight physical deformity became apparent at the age of eight.
