Work will shortly start on a huge new commercial centre for Almería city after its plan got the go-ahead from stakeholders and the council.
The previous project for the Torrecárdenas commercial centre was rejected by the Andalusian Supreme Court (TSJA) after it ruled that it contravened planning laws.
The plan for the centre developed by Bogartis Retail calls for a 60,000-square metre area for shopping, entertainment and parking. The Torrecárdenas centre will be located behind the provincial hospital of the same name.
