A Palomares man arrested last month on suspicion of having committed up to 23 house burglaries in Vera Playa and Cuevas del Almanzora was released on bail within hours, CA News can reveal.
The 28-year-old man, identified by his initials Y.D., was arrested close to an urbanisation on the night of May 18 following a burglary in Vera playa earlier that same day.
The Guardia did not reveal details of the arrest until last week, coinciding with the news of three burglaries in the area as reported in this paper, but it has emerged that the man was released on May 19 by a Vera judge pending his trial.
