A judge in Almería has dropped an investigation into a fatal blast at a techno park chemical plant in which two workers were killed.
The explosion happened in September 2015 at a warehouse belonging to the firm Hintes Oil Europa in the PITA industrial park, located some 15 kilometres east of Almería city.
The victims were attempting to solder an empty fuel tank when a blast ripped through the premises. One man died at the scene and another two months later. Three people were also severely injured.
