One person was slightly injured and up to 21 homes were evacuated in a neighbourhood of Almería city following a landslide last week.
The incident happened on Wednesday (April 26) at about 10.30am in the La Chanca-Pescadería area of the provincial capital. Tonnes of rocks slid down a hill and onto nearby homes, directly affecting two properties – one of which was badly damaged.
A 57-year-old man was slightly hurt when a rock struck his ankle and two couples and their children were immediately forced to vacate their homes.
