A man who fired a shotgun into the air while threatening bystanders has been arrested in Dalias.
The incident happened on December 22 in a street in the neighbourhood of Celín. According to the Guardia Civil the assailant, a 28-year-old local man, drove past two people and threatened them with the weapon, firing a number of rounds into the air and causing a panic in the street.
Witnesses were able to give police a description of the man’s vehicle and he was tracked down to his mother’s home shortly afterwards.
The suspect was arrested after admitting the crime and handing over a shotgun and ammunition.
