A new action blockbuster starring Jude Law and Blake Lively will be shot in Almería city, the provincial council has confirmed.
British-made espionage thriller ‘The Rhythm Section’ tells the story of a woman who seeks revenge against a sinister group behind a plane crash that wipes out her family.
News that the movie would be shot in Almería first emerged in November, but Diputación (the provincial council) this week announced that the film’s final chase scene will be shot in Almería city and the provincial capital’s port.
Madrid and Cádiz have also been chosen as film locations in Spain, while more than 1,000 extras will be hired for the movie, which is expected to generate more than seven million euros in revenue for the country.
