A 30-YEAR-old Briton has been arrested by the Guardia Civil in connection with a vicious attack on his girlfriend’s ex-partner in Mazarrón on December 9.
The victim, a British man, suffered serious head wounds after being assaulted in his home with an expandable steel baton.
According to the Guardia Civil, the victim was found lying in a pool of blood by his father. He was initially treated at a health centre, but had to be taken to hospital by ambulance due to the seriousness of his condition.
A spokesman for the Guardia Civil noted at the beginning of this week that the man is still being treated in a hospital intensive care unit.
