Vera beach goers were up in arms this week after a beach bar cordoned off an area of sand at Puerto Rey to create a private area for its sun beds.
Meanwhile in Mojacar the removal by local police of sun beds on Ventanicas beach belonging to bar Playa Blanca caused a storm of protest on social media.
