Multinational construction company Sacyr has filed notice to the national government that it wants to break the contract it won in September 2015 to build 12 kilometres of high speed railway through Cuevas del Almanzora.
The company has said that more than one year since the tender was awarded, the national government has not even finished the expropriation process and that the terms of the tender have changed sufficiently to break the contract.
