A meeting in Albánchez held as part of a new campaign to help residents on illegal developments attracted scores of British homeowners this week.
The Auan British property owners’ rights group recently launched a new initiative to address the plight of thousands of expats across the province who still lack title deeds and mains services.
The move comes after the regional government issued new draft planning laws (LOUA) that according to the Auan fail to solve the problem.
The association is now lobbying all political parties to propose amendments that will provide a “practical solution”.
