The Albox socialist PSOE party has accused the mayor of authorising “illegal works” in a further attack on Francisco Torrecillas whose leadership they renounced two weeks ago by resigning en masse.
They claim the mayor, branded a “dictator” by PSOE spokesperson Tito Carillo whom he subsequently sacked, unilaterally authorised works to begin on a council project on a private piece of land before expropriation proceedings had been completed, despite warnings from the PSOE.
