Pedreguer residents recycle more than double the national average and a third more than the European Union’s target for 2025 thanks to its initially-controversial door-to-door collection service.
Residents and business premises in Pedreguer have a series of coloured bins, matching those of the larger recycling banks in the streets, and a schedule for when to leave them outside their front doors.
