TEAMS representing expats living across Europe went to the heart of the European Union to demand citizens’ rights be ring-fenced ahead of Brexit – warning of a ‘probable’ no deal.
Representatives of the British in Europe alliance and colleagues from the3million – which represents EU nationals living in the UK – went to Brussels to lobby for an end to uncertainty over the key issue.
The teams embarked on a ‘packed programme’ of meetings with MEPs, an ex-president of the European Parliament and a top representative of the European Commission.
