A Swedish man trying to escape a prison sentence in his home country ended up being caught in Torrevieja by the National Police.
A spokesman for the force said that a warrant to arrest the 35-year-old had been issued by the authorities in Sweden, where he had been convicted of drug dealing and money laundering, and sentenced to six years in prison.
