High temperatures have been making the headlines again this week.
While 11 municipalities in the Vega Baja area of south Alicante – including Orihuela and Guardamar – reached 25ºC on Wednesday, Alicante city recorded its warmest January night since records began with a low of 16.8ºC on Tuesday.
