An elderly woman who lived alone has been rescued after spending three days on the floor in her home following a fall.
Guardia Civil officers decided to force an entry to the property in Torrevieja after her worried daughter who lives in the Basque Country contacted the security services because she was unable to reach her 78-year-old mother by phone.
