Two cats and a dog suffering from severe smoke inhalation were rescued from a fire in a Benidorm flat on Saturday night.
A spokesman for the provincial fire service explained that they were called to the apartment block on Calle Antonio Ramos Carratalá at 22.15.
A team located the blaze in one of the rooms of the property and they were able to extinguish it quickly.
