Guardia Civil found a whole dead pig in the rear of a small van as they were carrying out vehicle inspections on the AP-7 motorway in Torrevieja.
The driver was unable to offer any paperwork to show where the animal had come from so they called in the PAPRONA nature patrol based in Guardamar del Segura, suspecting that it was destined for the human food chain.
